These Terms govern access to the Karoobar website, registration service, Demo, paid local Main Workspace plans, downloads, and related support. Karoobar is operated by Labverse. A signed proposal or service agreement may add or replace terms for a Custom or Managed Cloud Workspace.
1. Business eligibility and authority
You must be legally able and authorized to create the company account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep administrator and contact details current.
2. Demo and paid local plans
The Demo is a limited evaluation for one company, one owner, and one activated device. It ends when 14 days pass or 50 sales invoices have been successfully posted, whichever happens first. Deleting, cancelling, or renumbering records does not recycle usage. Demo reporting is preview-only and portable backup, restore, report export, and data import are unavailable. One rolling safety copy may be retained on the same device to reduce accidental-loss risk; it is not a customer-controlled or cloud recovery service.
Basic, Standard, and Professional are paid local subscriptions with the capacities and features shown on the current pricing page. Operational records remain on your computer unless a separate managed service is explicitly activated. Expired or unavailable entitlements may place the workspace in read-only mode so existing records remain readable while new writes are blocked.
3. Custom and Managed Cloud Workspaces
Custom workflows, implementation, cloud synchronization, managed backup, mobile access, integrations, training, and enhanced support are quote-based services. Scope, fees, taxes, payment schedule, data processing, delivery assumptions, acceptance criteria, support levels, and termination rights are defined in the applicable signed agreement. No managed service is activated merely because you register for Demo or purchase a local plan.
4. Account and device responsibility
You are responsible for account activity, authorized users, password security, device security, operating-system maintenance, access removal, and accurate company information. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Your data and backups
You retain responsibility for business records you enter into Karoobar. Paid local-plan customers must maintain and test their own portable backups. The Demo safety copy stays on the same device and does not protect against device loss, storage failure, malware, encryption, or erasure. Labverse cannot restore records that were stored only on a lost or damaged device without an applicable managed backup.
6. Updates and availability
The first sign-in, entitlement checks, account security checks, downloads, and explicitly connected services require internet access. Features may change to improve security, reliability, compatibility, or product direction. Demo does not include a guaranteed service level. Managed-service availability commitments apply only when written in the relevant agreement.
7. Accounting and compliance responsibility
Karoobar assists with record keeping and configured business workflows. You remain responsible for the accuracy of source data, approvals, filings, taxes, accounting judgments, statutory records, and professional advice. Product labels such as “Pakistan-ready” or references to FBR workflows do not replace verification by your accountant, tax adviser, or relevant authority.
8. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not attack the service, bypass entitlements, distribute malware, misuse another company's account, violate applicable law, or use Karoobar to infringe third-party rights.
9. Intellectual property
Labverse and its licensors retain rights in Karoobar software, branding, website content, documentation, and updates. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the applicable Karoobar offering for authorized business purposes; they do not transfer ownership of the product.
10. Third-party services
Optional integrations may be governed by third-party terms and availability. Labverse is not responsible for a third-party provider's independent service, pricing, policy, outage, or regulatory decision.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict online services when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, legal requirements, non-payment of contracted services, or material breach. Ending an online account does not automatically remove local business records from your devices.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Demo is provided for evaluation without a guaranteed service level and may contain errors or interruptions. Fees, cancellation, warranties, liability, indemnities, and remedies for paid subscriptions or custom services are governed by the applicable order or signed agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Governing terms and disputes
These Terms are intended to operate under the applicable laws of Pakistan, subject to any different governing-law or dispute clause in a signed customer agreement. Mandatory rights and remedies under applicable law remain unaffected.
